Graveside services for Jessie Mae Burgess, 81, of Tallulah, LA were held at 12:30 PM, Monday, September 4, 2023 at Gwin Cemetery, Mangham, LA with Rev. Jason Lupo officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Jessie was born May 21, 1942 in Rayville, LA and passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 in Tallulah, LA.

Mrs. Jessie was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Burgess, Sr.; son, Charles Ray Burgess; and daughter, Judy Wyatt.

Survivors include her children, Charlotte D. Burgess of Delhi, LA, Kimberly Ann Moore and husband, Billy of Forest, LA, and Robert S. Burgess, Jr. of Tallulah, LA; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Billy Moore, Jr., Josh C. Moore, Michael Linder, Benny R. Andrews, Joe Hamm, Greg Hamm, and Tristan Knowles.
