Jesse Marble, Sr.

Graveside services for Jesse Thomas Marble, Sr., 74, of Mer Rouge, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery, Oak Ridge, LA. with Sis. Shirley Davidson officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mr. Jesse was born December 17, 1946 in Warner, OK and passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 in Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.L. "Red" and Beulah Marble; brothers, Paul Douglas Marble and Hughie Marble.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Ola Marble of Mer Rouge, LA; children, Tonya Marble Young of Start, LA, Dana Marble of Calhoun, LA, and Jesse "Amos" Marble, Jr. of Mer Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Patrick Ryan Young, Jessie Lynn Young, Jacob Thomas Young, Ariel Danielle Copeland, Amber Nicole Copeland, Ashley Michelle Copeland, and Colton Peveto; great grandchildren, Avery Shows, Bristol Young, Stella Ellis, Jeremy McKoin, and Julien McKoin; siblings, James Marble and wife, Lucille, Cecil Marble, Alice Naylor, Berryman and wife, Ruthie, Margaret Marble, and Jerry Marble; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Pallbearers are Patrick Young, Jacob Young, Frankie Marble, Caleb Marble, Barry Marble, and David Smith.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 20, 2021, 9:00 AM - 10:15 AM at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
