Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Murray, 82, of Monroe, LA will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Jeff Thomas officiating. Internment will follow in Rayville Masonic Cemetery in Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
Mr. Jerry was born August 29, 1942 in Leesville, LA and passed away Friday, January 24, 2025 in Monroe, LA.
Jerry enjoyed and was an avid bass fisherman. He was a veteran serving in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie Faye Murray; parents, Isaac and Nettie Murray; brothers, Junior, Charles, Jewel, Shelby, and Jimmy Lee; sister, Doris, Rachel and Betty Rae.
Survivors include his daughters, Jerri Lowery and husband, Carl and Misty Murray Garland and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Emily Carter and husband, Zack Langheld, Peyton Lowery, and Trey Garland; great grandchildren, Daniel Langheld and Mason Langheld; brothers, Bobby Murray and Earl Murray and wife, Kathy; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Murray, Michael L. Murray, Chris Murray, Shelby Murray, Jr., Ricky Murray, and Michael Murray.
Honorary pallbearers are Tom Heath, Norman Paulson, and Robert Woods.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM, Monday, January 27, 2025 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA.
