Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Blackman, 71, of Bonita, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA. Interment was in the Christ Church Cemetery, Bastrop, LA.

Jerry was born December 1, 1952 in Bastrop, LA and passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at his residence in Bonita, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, R.L. and Jane; grandsons, Nobie and Allister; and brothers, Terry and Dennis.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Gail Blackman; children, Brandy and husband, Herman, Derek and wife, Tracy, and Diamond and husband, Allen; grandchildren, Carter, Miles, Emerald, Brendan, Ariel, and Garret; great grandchildren, Luna, Tobias, Adalyn, Thalia, and Sebastian; siblings, Charlie and wife, Debbie, Jimmie, Robbie, and Angela; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were David Hart, Charlie Blackman, Brayden Blackman, Derek Kitchell, and Alexander Stokes.
