Jerry, a devout husband and beloved Daddy and Papaw passed away peacefully at his home on April 10, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family.
Jerry was a man whose life was a testament to hard work, family love, and selfless devotion. With his quiet strength and unwavering values, he dedicated his entire life to working hard and taking care of his family. Jerry believed in doing the right thing, even when no one was watching and helping whenever possible without expecting anything in return.
For over 50 years, he stood hand in hand with his loving wife, Patricia, building a life grounded in love, laughter, and unwavering commitment. He never asked for much, but he gave everything: his time, his strength, his wisdom, and his heart. Jerry was a protector, a provider, and a quiet hero who showed us what it means to live with purpose, finish the job and love with your whole heart.
His absence leaves a hole that can never be filled, but his legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the values he taught, and the love he gave so freely.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Euna Mae Miller and his brother, Bo Miller.
He is survived by his soulmate and dedicated wife of 50 years, Patricia Miller; his loving children, Brad Miller and wife, Sarah; Amanda Miller Meza and Kilee Miller and Colby; his grandchildren, Seth Miller and wife, Ainsley; (great-grandchildren, Myla, Jennings and Ella Charles; Shelby Miller; Cole Miller; Payton Miller and wife, Leah, (great-grandchildren) Addison and Mason; Kyle Miller and wife, Dana, (great-grandson) Evan; his “fourth child”, Shamber Williamson and husband Clint, (great-grandchildren) Bryce and Skylee. He is also survived by loving sister, Dorothy Smith; sister-in-law, Kim Kenly; nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Brad Miller, Seth Miller, Payton Miller, Cole Miller, Kyle Miller, David Thames, and Clint Williamson.
Rest easy, Daddy. Your work here is done, and you did the job perfectly.
