Graveside service for Jerry D. McAlpin, age 59, of Janesville Community near Oak Grove, LA will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Oak Grove Cemetery, in Oak Grove, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.

Mr. Jerry was born on September 9, 1960 in Oak Grove, LA, and passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020, in Oak Grove, LA. He is preceded in death by his father, Emmitt McAlpin and brother Greg McAlpin.  

Survivors include his mother, Shirley McAlpin of Oak Grove, LA; sons, Jeremy McAplin and wife, Toni of Monroe, LA, and Brady McAlpin of Monroe, LA; 6-grandchildern, Anna Grace, Brayden, Jensen, Kamden, Taylen, and Jayton; aunts, Linda Summarell, Marilyn Street ; Uncle Frank E. Janes; and nieces, Lindsey McAlpin and Amber Abernathy.

Pallbearers will be Daniel McCarthy, Mike Patterson, Mick Shaver, Bill Cooper, Christopher Street and Dion Burrell.
