Graveside services for Janice Loraine Yelverton, 85, of Archibald, LA were held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA with Bro. John Cleveland officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Janice was born February 15, 1940 in Archibald, LA and passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025 in Archibald, LA.

Janice was a member of Cedar Baptist Church, Archibald, LA and an award-winning member of a quilting group. She preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Izora Eppinette and sister Barbara Thompson.

Survivors include her sons, Mark Yelverton and wife, Gina of Archibald, LA and Todd Yelverton and wife, Paula of Archibald, LA; grandchildren, Amanda Yelverton, Michael Yelverton, Ashley Price and husband, Brandon, Aaron Yelverton, Ariana Yelverton, Abigail Yelverton, and Alayna Yelverton; grandchildren, Rowdy Yelverton, Jake Yelverton, Landon Price, and Jude Price; sisters, Betty Chapman, Peggy Stapp, Patricia Johnson, and Sandra Banks.

Pallbearers were Ricky Fife, Bobby Free, Michael Yelverton, Trae Banks, Lee Harrell, and Eric Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Cedar Baptist Church of Archibald, LA.
