Memorial services for Janice Kay Heath Spencer, 70, of Rayville, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the First Baptist Church, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Janice was born June 28, 1952 in Rayville, LA and passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at her residence in Rayville, LA with her family around her. She is preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Ricky Wayne Spencer; parents, William “Sonny” Heath and Edna “Tuter” Heath; brother, John Heath; nephew, Chad Alan Heath.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Eric Spencer and wife, Melissa of Newark, DE; daughter Hayley Spencer and David Carter of Gulfport, MS; grandchildren, Lydia Spencer, Isla Spencer, Leila Carter, and Spencer Carter; partner, Bill Letlow; brothers, Joe Heath and wife, Shirley, Tom Heath and wife, Dora, and Roy Ray Heath; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Tuleta Sasser, Karen Duvall-Darling, and Rhonda Garrett.

Honorary pallbearers were Shannon Heath, Tyler Heath, Brant Heath, John Thomas Heath, Ryan Alan Heath, David Wisenor, David Carter, Chris Sasser, Scooter Medlin, Larry Neathery, Kenny Harper, Hiroshi Allen, Dan Stansbury, and Larry Morrism

Eric and Hayley would like to express their gratitude and appreciation for the love and support shown by family, friends, and the community. Janice cherished the sweet memories and friendships made throughout her life.
