Graveside services for James Ronald “Jim” Cannon, 76, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Gwin Cemetery, Mangham, LA with Rev. Calvin Stapp and Rev. Mike Jackson officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mr. Jim was born August 18, 1947 in Monroe, LA and passed away Monday, May 6, 2024 in Shreveport, LA.

Jim was a veteran with the United States Air Force. He was a HVAC instructor for Local 141 and HVAC senior technician and field foreman for Byrnes Mechanical Contractors in West Monroe, LA. He attended Rayville Assembly of God, Rayville, LA. He is preceded by his parents, James and Barbara Cannon; and siblings, Alvin “Johnny” Cannon and Vonda Cannon.

Survivors include his sister, Debra Stapp and husband, Calvin of Rayville, LA; brother, Charles “Chuck” Cannon and wife, Amy of Rayville, LA; sister-in-law, Mary Cannon of Rayville, LA; and host of Nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Robert Byrnes, Chris Gonzales, Tim Raudels, Zack Mizrahi, John Dupree, and Jacob Miller.
