Graveside services for James Edwin Lowry, 80, of Rayville, LA were held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 22, 2023 at the Greer Cemetery, Rayville, LA with Bro. Johnny Hoychick and Bro. Edward Greer officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mr. James was born March 7, 1943 in Rayville, LA and passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 in West Monroe, LA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Eva Lowry; wife, Linda Ann Lowry; daughter, Christy Frey; siblings, Hazel Watson; Geraldine Johnson; and Alton Lowry.

Survivors include his son, Eddie Ray and wife, Jeanie Pipes Lowry; son-in-law, Robert Frey; grandchildren, Christopher Ray Lowry; Nicholes Clay Lowry and fiancé, Haley Franks; Hunter Logan Frey; great grandson, Clayton James Lowry; caregiver, Juana Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to offer a special Thank You to Dr. Corey Albritton, Richland Parish Hospital, Mackenzie Swain, , and Glenwood Regional Medical Center.

Visitation was from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, September, 21, 2023 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
