Funeral services for James E. Oliver, Jr., 69, of Rayville, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the First Assembly of God Church, Rayville, LA with Bro. Mike Jackson officiating. Interment was in the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

James was born August 11, 1954 in Monroe, LA and passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 in Rayville, LA after a lengthy illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and James Oliver, Sr.; and brother, Richard Oliver.

Survivors include his sisters, Linda Gail Jennings and Teresa Gilbert and husband, Ronnie; nieces, Heather Jennings, Laura Pendergraft, and Sevanna Oliver; nephew, Corey Gilbert; special aunt and uncle, Betty and Ernie Lard; special uncle, Jim Foster and wife, Patti; and numerous cousins, friends, and other family members.
