Memorial service for James Clyde Dupree, Sr., 86, of Pioneer, LA, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. John Skinner officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA   

Mr. James was born on November 18, 1938, in Oak Grove, LA and passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, at his home in Pioneer, LA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Birdie Moore Dupree; son, James Clyde Dupree, Jr.; parents, Judson and Pauline Dupree; grandson, Ronald Porter, Jr.; sister, Gloria Jordon; and brother, Steve Dupree.

Survivors include his children, Carolyn Ann Dupree of Pioneer, LA, Judson Dupree of Pioneer, LA, Della Rose Rosio and husband, Frank of Forest, LA, Ruby Goode and husband, Billy of Kilbourne, LA, John Richard Dupree of Pioneer, La, and Mary Elizabeth Williams and husband Ken of Kilbourne, LA; 17-grandchildren; 32-great grandchildren; 5-great-great grandchildren; sisters, Winnie Faye Daniels and Alma Ruth Mercer; and mother of Ruby, John, and Mary; Rhonda Pardon.
