Funeral services for James Arthur Stuart, 89, of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 13, 2024 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home Chapel, in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Terry Jordan officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.

Mr. James was born on December 26, 1934 in Scooba, MS and passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024 in Oak Grove, LA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Gray Stuart; parents, Hal and Ella Stuart; brothers, Ernest Stuart and Johnny Stuart; and sisters, Margie Wise, Helen White, Hazel Waddell, Bessie Lee, Ethel Waddell, and Maggie Jo Beck

Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Chatham; 2-granddaughters; close friends, Virginia and Tommy Smith; sister, Louise Blevins; and a host of nieces and nephews.
