Funeral services for Jackie D. Hughes, 61, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Dr. Alan Miller and Bro. Tony LaCaze officiating. Interment followed in the Mulhearn Memorial Park, Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Jackie was born September 4, 1959 in Oak Grove, LA and passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020 in Shreveport, LA.

Mrs. Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Elaine LaCaze; sisters, Mattie “Coonie” Ratcliff and Gloria Jean Cockrell; and her brother, Tommy LaCaze.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Carl Hughes of Rayville; daughters, Lynette Fife and husband, David of Bastrop, Joyce Martin fiancé, Roy Smith of West Monroe, Christy Nguyen and husband, Tuan of Monroe, Carla Tuma and husband, Tommy of Rayville, and Sophie Hughes of West Monroe; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Bobby LaCaze and wife, Rosemary of Pioneer and Matt LaCaze and wife, Linda of Kilbourne; long life friends of 40 plus years, Leolor and Ricky Lynn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Billy Copeland, Austin Strahan, Hunter Hibbard, Curtis Brown, Chris “Bubba” Stoffer, Joseph Alford, Trent Tuma, and Joe Ware.
