Funeral services for Mrs. Irene M. Jones, 69, of Delhi, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 30, 2023 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Robbin Cox officiating. Interment was in the Start Cemetery, Start, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Irene was born March 15, 1954 in Start, LA and passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 in Monroe, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Roberta Moore; son, Jody Ponder; sister, Martha Amos; brother, Carl Moore; granddaughter, Alexis Jones.

Survivors include her husband, James Lewis; children, Jennifer Lingefelt and husband, Chris of Epps and Janet Jeselink and husband, Shane of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Willow Ponder, Carson Nettles, Morgan Lingefelt, Megan Lingefelt, Marlee Lingefelt, and Candis Millwood; siblings, George Moore, Mary Russell, Barbara McCormick and husband, Roy, Gloria Stanley and husband, Robert, and Dennis Moore; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Cheer, Ricky Smith, Jared Swartz, Adam Lingefelt, Brad Lingefelt, and Kyle Clack.
