Funeral services for Homer Lee Sasnett, Jr., 72, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA with Bro. Buddy McGurk officiating. Interment followed in the Redwing Cemetery, Oak Grove, LA.

Mr. Homer was born December 2, 1948 in Oak Grove, LA and passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 in Rayville, LA.

Mr. Homer is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Jesse Sasnett; brother, Roscoe Sasnett; sisters, Susan Carter and Alice Holmes; and his grandson, Devin Ray White.

Survivors include his children, Birtie Stump and husband, Erik of West Monroe, Jennifer White and husband, Anthony of Poplarville, MS, Johnathan Lee Sasnett of Pine Bluff, AR, and Alesha Banks and husband, Joshua of Wellborn, FL; grandchildren, Angel Sasnett, Dakota White, John Allen White, Colton Banks, ZayLee Banks, and Hunter Sasnett; brother, William “Bobo” Sasnett and wife, Jeannie of Epps; sisters, Gloria Sasnett Barrett of TN, Melba Turner of TX, and Linda McMillan of N.M.; and his numerous nieces and nephews.
