Helen "Sue" Garay

Funeral service for Helen “Sue” Garay, age 62, of Oak Grove, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Oak Grove, with Rev. Kelby Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, LA.

Sue was born on February 14, 1956 in Hobbs, NM; and passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Jackson, MS. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Helen Meziere; 2-sisters, Dianne Ortega and Sonja Meziere.                                                                          

Survivors include her husband, Nicandro “Texas” R. Garay of Oak Grove, LA; 2-children, Ricky Meziere and wife, Tia of Haynesville, LA, and Maurice Garay of Oak Grove, LA; 4-grandchildren, Dayton Meziere, Desiree Meziere, Emily Meziere, and Cali Meziere; 4-sisters, Patsy Bautista and husband, George of Oak Grove, LA, Robin Anders and husband, Joey of Goodwill, LA, Sharon Thornhill and husband, Randy of Oak Grove, LA, and Landy Garza and husband, Robert of Oak Grove, LA; 1-brother, Edgar Meziere, Jr. and wife, Teresa of Oak Grove, LA.

Pallbearers will be Randall Thornhill, Cruz Ortega, Anthony Ortega, Gabriel Meziere, Ryan Bancroft, Charles Anders, Tristan Bautista and Levi Howe.

Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday November 14, 2018 at the funeral home.
