Funeral services for Hazel Crystene Agent, 93, of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, in Oak Grove, LA with Rev. Raymond Agent, Bishop Kelvin Copeland, and Rev. Kenneth Linn officiating. Interment will follow to Forest Corner Cemetery, in Forest, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA.

On Monday March 31st, 2025, Hazel Crystene Agent ran to the one who loved her most & didn’t look back. She was known as Mawmaw, to her 8 grandchildren & 22 great grands, she was called Sis Hazel by her church family at Freedom Worship Center in Oak Grove, she was called Mother by her 3 children Rev. Raymond Agent (Dixie) of Oak Grove, La. Sharlotte Linn (Rev. Kenneth Linn) Ft Smith Ar. & Brenda Copeland (Bishop Kelvin Copeland)Ackerman Ms. , She was called “Mother” by her husband of almost 75yrs Raymond S. Agent of the home, but her Grandest title was “Daughter of the King” by her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.

She was born the 3rd of 12 children to Steve Isaac & Ela Mae Barton in Kilbourne La on October 4th, 1931. Her siblings are Billie Ratcliff of Lake Providence, La. Bonnie Sanders of Beaver Ok, Margie Tarver Zavala Tx, Dorthy Strahan of Liberty Tx, Ronnie Barton of Mer Rouge La, Micky Barton of Onalaska Tx, Linda McLarrin of Oak Grove La.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, brothers Steve Barton, Herman Barton& sisters Bobbie Densmore & Julia Weeks.

Hazel was a homemaker, avid gardener, seamstress and she loved raising animals of all kinds. She Loved her family, her church & her Lord.

God gave us countless sunsets, and millions of flowers, but HE only gave us one mother.

Pallbearers are Randy McLarrin, Donald Ray Barton, Scottie Agent, Mark Turner, Justin Berst, and Chris Butler.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, in Oak Grove, LA.
