Funeral services for Halbert Edward Sandifer, 83, of Monroe, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Hill Baptist Church, Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Leslie Yates and Bro. William Smith officiating. Interment was in the Kilbourne Cemetery, Kilbourne, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mr. Halbert was born April 7, 1939 in Kilbourne, LA and passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 in Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Maryen Sandifer; and his wife of 56 years, Nola Sandifer.

Survivors include his children, Sharon Sherman and husband, James of Winter Haven, FL and Kim Walton and husband, Neil of Monroe; grandchildren, Britni Arnold and husband, Stephen of Lyman, SC, Keith Sherman of Anderson, SC, and Natalie Sherman of Winter Haven, FL; great grandchildren, Phen Arnold, Nolan Arnold, and Chloe Sherman; brothers, Charles Sandifer and wife, Shirley of Memphis, TN and Jimmy Sandifer of Rio Rancho, NM; sister, Fannie Pearl Hughes and husband, Travis of Forest; and his numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
