Mr. Gordon was born August 28, 1948 in Rayville, LA and passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 in Rayville, LA.

Mr. Gordon enjoyed riding motorcycles, metal detecting, and time traveling. He is preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Sandra Lynette Smith Walters; son, Joshlin Walters; parents, Wiley and Cleopatra Walters; and brothers, Robert Paul Walters, Alvin Joe Walters, and Garland Walters.

Survivors include his son, Gordon L. “Gordy” Walters, Jr. and wife, Christine of Fort Myers, FL; grandchildren, Brandon Walters, Gavin Walters, Joshlyn Elizabeth Walters, Brynnly Walker, and Bailey Walker; brother, William Walters; sister, Betty Hamaker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
