Funeral services for Gloria Jean Sims, 67, of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 17, 2022 at Goodwill Baptist Church, Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Johnny Smith officiating. Interment will follow to Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove.

Ms. Gloria was born on September 25, 1954 in Monroe, LA and passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 in Oak Grove, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Sims; and parents, Joseph and Lillie Trichell.

Survivors include her husband son, Shea Sims and wife, Brenda of Oak Grove, LA; grandchildren, Austin Sims of Cisco, TX, Alexis Sims of Oak Grove, LA and Blake Sims of Oak Grove, LA; great grandson, Carter Sims of Oak Grove, LA.; brother, Ronnie Trichell of Oak Grove, LA; stepbrother, Bruce Mills and wife, Chricket of Pearl, MS; aunt; Hazel Bedenbender.  

Pallbearers will be Austin Sims, Blake Sims, Jerry Mullins, Jerry Calhoun, Bo Stampley, Tim Stampley.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home.
