Funeral services for George Mitchell Dew, 67, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Johnny Smith officiating. Interment was in the Bethel Cemetery, Holly Ridge, LA.

Mr. George was born May 29, 1954 in Rayville, LA and passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Gene Dew and Inez Johns Dew; grandmother, Georgie Dew; nephew, Kevin Howard; brother, Gene Dew; cousin, Gary Johns; and niece, Mindy Lejeune.

Survivors include his son, David Dew and wife, Jessica Hunter; grandson, Davin Chase Dew; siblings, Patricia Dew, Jerry Dew and wife, Dylnn, and Sherry Ponsell and husband, Bo; 10-nieces and nephews; aunt, Bobbie Fay Clark; uncle, Jimmy Dew; and special children who were like his grandchildren, Hannah and Gracie Marsh and Emma Lynn Johnson.
