Gelorus Faye Fryday

Funeral service for Gelorus Faye Fryday, 82, of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at New Zion Baptist Church, in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Shawn Corley officiating. Interment will follow to Beulah Cemetery, in Oak Grove, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove. 

Ms. Faye was born on January 31, 1941 in Oak Grove, LA and passed away on February 3, 2023 in Shreveport, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Fryday; parents, Sedric and Flora Seamans; sister, Delorus Mae Martin; and nephew, Robert Martin. Ms. Faye was a member of New Zion Baptist Church in Oak Grove.                              

Survivors include her nephew, Stacey Martin and wife, Kelly of Oak Grove, LA; niece, Celinda Breaux of Oak Grove, LA; great nieces and nephews, Sierra Dupre, Traci Martin, Lacey Dupre, and Kaleb Breaux; and great-great niece, Lilly Pippin. 

Visitation will be Monday, February 6, 2023 from 4:30 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., at the church.
