Gary "Snuffy" Sterrett, Sr.

Gary “Snuffy” Sterrett, 71, of Rayville, LA was born April 21, 1953 in Sondheimer, LA and passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 in Rayville, LA. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.  

Gary was preceded by his parents, Fred and Cordell Sterrett; wife, Betty Turner; 3-grandchildren; sister, Nobie; and brothers, Fred, Billy Dennis, and Charles.

Survivors include his children, Kelly Cox and husband, Chris of Hot Springs, AR, Gary “Little Gary” Sterrett, Jr. and wife, Alissa of Hot Springs, AR, Angela Gates of Hot Springs, AR, Jeremy Walker of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Chelsea Sterrett of Rayville, LA; 9-grandchildren and 6-great grandchildren; sister, Mary Craig of Springhill, LA; and mother of Jeremy and Chelsea, Vickey Tibbs of Rayville, LA.
