Frank Janes

Funeral services for Frank Edwin Janes, 81, of Oak Grove, LA were held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Grove, LA with Chaplin Andy Myrich officiating. Interment followed to Concord Cemetery, Oak Grove, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove.

Mr. Frank was born January 29, 1941 in Delhi, LA and passed away on February 19, 2022. He is preceded in death by his wife, Emilee Janes; parents, Frank and Vera Janes; and sister, Barbara Ann Janes Peoples.  

Survivors include his children, Angela Janes Frey of Hot Springs Village, AR, and Phillip Janes and companion, Michelle of Toney, AL; grandchildren, Matthew Frey and wife, Rachel, and their son, Oliver of Frisco, TX, Chelsea Warner and husband, Bucky, and her daughter, Emilee Townsend of West Monroe, LA, Allison Janes and fiancé, Jared McKelvey of Chattanooga, TN, Madison Janes Crenshaw and husband, B.J., of Pioneer, LA, and Cameron Janes of Hampton, VA; siblings, Shirley McAlpin of Oak Grove, LA, Linda Summerall and husband, Michael of Oak Grove, LA, and Marilyn Street and husband, Jimmy of Oak Grove, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Phillip Janes, Cameron Janes, Matthew Frey, Jimmy Street, Christopher Street, and B.J. Crenshaw.

Visitation was 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM, Friday, February 25, 2022 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home.
