Funeral services for Frances Pickett Reeves, 89, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 28, 2024 at West New Home Baptist Church, Holly Ridge, LA with Bro. Trent Allen officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Frances was born August 24, 1935 in Holly Ridge, LA and passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024 in Sunset, LA.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and “Tincy” Pickett; husband, Carroll W. Reeves; brother, Les Pickett; niece, Amy Michelle Seffens; and great nephew, Horace E. Pickett, IV.

Survivors include her children, Harold Reeves, Timothy Reeves and wife, Kathleen Faford; and Dina Broussard; granddaughters, Anne Elizabeth, Kasey Broussard, and Haley Patin; great granddaughter, Macy Patin; great grandsons, Donavon Drake, Daniel Drake, and Owen Patin; brothers, Edward Pickett and Houston Pickett; sisters, Sharon Baum, Shelly Clack, and Phyllis Thompson; 21-nieces and nephews; 42-great nieces and nephews; and 14-great-great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Vic Cheek, Tim Branch, Eric Silk, David Freeland, Brian Miller, and Andrew Clack.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Horticultural Society or the Gideons International.
