Funeral services for Florence “Colette” Smith, 83, of Pioneer, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, June 23, 2022 at New Prospect Baptist Church, in Pioneer, LA with Pastor Robin Cox and Bro. Courtney Rainey officiating. Interment will follow to Unity Cemetery, in Pioneer, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.

Mrs. Colette was born on May 18, 1939 in Eudora, AR and passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 in Pioneer, LA. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Brooks; mother, Dorothy Lorene Brooks; sons, Donald Ray Philley(Little Pete), and Jeffrey Wayne Philley; sisters, Laverne Williams, Donna Venable, Lucille Crosby, Rose Mary Bishop, and Ganelle Haygood; and brothers, Robert Brooks and ML Brooks.

Survivors include her husband, Toney Smith of Pioneer, LA; children, Moni and Billy Beevers of Delhi, LA; Carol and Greg Odom of Delhi, LA; Toni and Larry Hagan of Oak Grove, LA; Keith and Tammy Smith of Carthage, TX; Mandy and Jamie Ardoin of Point Blank, TX; 17-grandchildren; 21-great grandchildren; 1-great-great grandchild; brother, Paul Brooks; and sister, Teny DeLoach.

Pallbearers will be Zachary Webb, Ty Webb, Dustin Waits, Hobie Waits, Tarik Jammal, Riad Jammal, Rey Philley, Will Philley, Tucker Smith, Corey Black, and Dillon Odom.
