Felipe Flores

Graveside service for Felipe Flores, 87, of Oak Grove, LA were held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 4, 2023, at McGaha Cemetery in Oak Grove, LA with Reverend Mister Daniel LeMoine and Reverend Mister David Nagem officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove. 

Mr. Felipe was born on January 25, 1936 in Harlingen, TX and passed away on January 29, 2023 in Hammond, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Josephine Rosales; siblings, Carpio Flores, Juanita Delion, Lilly Nerio, Carmin Rodriguez, Davis Rosales, and Mike Rosales. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oak Grove, pastor Father Jean Bosco Uwamungu. He enjoyed farming and being outdoors. 

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Flores of Oak Grove, LA; children, Joseph Flores and Carey of Abingdon, VA, Daniel Flores of Rydal, GA, Vickie Flores of Ventress, LA, and Anita Flores Knight and husband, Garlan of Ventress, LA; grandchildren, Joseph Alex Flores, Cicily Flores, Alayna Knight, Stevie Flores, Ava Knight, Gavin Flores, and Adriana Flores; sister, Matulas Lopez; and sister-in-law, Billie Fay Rosales.

Pallbearers were Daniel Flores, Joseph Flores, Garlan Knight, Joseph Alex Flores, Stevie Flores, and Jerry Moore, Jr.

Visitation was Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M. followed by a Rosary 10:00 A.M. at at Brown-Holley Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Grove, LA. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Brown-Holley Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
