Funeral services for Faye Shoemaker, 76, of Rayville, LA were at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Archibald First Baptist Church, Archibald, LA with Bro. John Cleveland officiating. Interment was in Reagan Cemetery, Baskin, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Faye was born November 11, 1947 in Baskin, LA and passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 in Winnsboro, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Virginia Slade; first husband, Dale Waller; daughter, Becki Cassell; and siblings, Kathryn Johnston, Betty Sue Burns, Ronnie Slade, Donny Slade, and Sunny Boy.

Survivors include her husband, Wendell Shoemaker; son, Gregory Waller; grandchildren, Chelsea Adams and husband, Zach, Matthew Pylant, Amber Thomas and husband, Wesley, and Abbigail Cassell; great grandchildren, Aubri Adams, Payson Adams, Amelia Adams, and Rebecca Thomas; one niece and two nephews.  

Pallbearers were Zachary Shoemaker, Chris Gibson, Wesley Thomas, Zach Adams, Roger Woods, and Phillip Shoemaker. Honorary pallbearers were James “Imp” Hendrix and Matthew Pylant.
