Funeral services for Evelyn Mae Dorman, 97, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 26, 2024 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Charles Ellzey officiating. Interment was in the Bethel Cemetery, Holly Ridge, LA under the direction Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Evelyn was born December 27, 1926 in Simsboro, LA and passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 in Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Evelyn was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Rayville. She was also a member of the Triple L, W.M.U., and The Friday Nite Gang. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelly Dorman; parents, Ethel and Jesse Killen; sons, Gary Dorman and Phillip Dorman; and sisters, Virginia Bowman and Nelda Forrester.

Survivors include her daughters, Sheila Hawkins of Florida, Darla Monroe, of Delhi, LA, and Tammi Dorman of Rayville, LA; son, Wendell Dorman of Farmerville, LA; 9-grandchildren and 13-great grandchildren; sisters, Lee Orville Freeland of Rayville, LA, Joyce Posey of Winnsboro, LA, and Mary Killen of Arkansas; brothers, Jesse Killen, Jr. of Colorado Springs, Co, Darryl Killen of Sherwood, AR, and Jim Killen of Wisconsin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Damien Odom, Craig Odom, Brad Dorman, Cole Odom, Cayden Odom, and Drake Odom.
