Funeral services for Eva Chop, 85, of Oak Grove, LA, will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, in Oak Grove, LA Interment will follow to the Beulah Cemetery, in Oak Grove, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.

Ms. Eva was born on December 24, 1939, in Lake Providence, LA and passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in Oak Grove, LA. She enjoyed making people happy, especially her grandchildren. Making quilts for her family and friends. She was an excellent cook and an awesome gardener. She is preceded in death by her husband, Benny Chop; daughter, Toni Renee Welch; parents, Marion and Maudie Dukes; brother, Charles Dukes; and sisters, Merle Raines and Patricia “Pat” Myers.

Survivors include her children, Becky Lucas and husband, Chester of Forest, LA, John Michael Chop and wife, Debra of Goodwill, LA, Connie Jo Still and husband, Rodney of Goodwill, LA, Rickey Dale Chop of Fiske Union, LA, and Lillie Ann King and husband, Michael of Cave Springs, AR; 19-grandchildren; 33-great grandchildren; 6-great-great grandchildren; sisters, Donna Adams and Linda Bray; and brother, Tom Dukes.

Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA.
