Graveside services for Ernestine McManus Lofton, 89, of Holly Ridge, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Faith Memorial Park, Delhi, LA with Bro. Martin Parker officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Ernestine was born August 21, 1932 in Holly Ridge, LA and passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at her residence in Holly Ridge, LA.

Mrs. Ernestine retired after 30+ years from the Louisiana Public School System, where she worked at Holly Ridge Elementary School. She was a member of the Shady Grove Church of God. Mrs. Ernestine loved her family and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and cooking. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Lofton; parents, Fred and Oretha McManus; and her daughter, Debra Lorraine Lofton.

Survivors include her children, Steve Lofton and wife, Janice of Holly Ridge and Keith Lofton and Doris Riser of Holly Ridge; grandchildren, Josh Lofton and wife, Jaime and Jenna Bolster and husband, Josh; 4-great grandchildren; and her sisters, Alice Morris and husband, Fred and Linda Travis.
