Funeral services for Edgar “Eddie” Meziere, Jr., 59, of Kilbourne, LA will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Michael McFall and Bro. Brandon Willis officiating. Interment will follow to Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove.

Mr. Eddie was born on July 16, 1962 in Monroe, LA and passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 in Oak Grove, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Helen Meziere; and sisters, Dianne Ortega, Sue Garay, and Sonja Ellen Meziere. Mr. Eddie enjoyed working on his trucks, riding horses, motorcycles, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Meziere of Kilbourne, LA; children, Tony Johnson and wife, Melissa of Beekman, LA, Ashley Robinson and husband, Corey of Log Cabin, LA, Ashby Meziere and wife, Cassie of Crossett, AR, Ashley Meziere of Bastrop, LA, Matthew Meziere and fiancé, Jasmine of Kilbourne, LA, Patrick Dylan Meziere of Kilbourne, LA, and Meredith Meziere of Kilbourne, LA; sisters, Patsy Bautisa and husband, Jorge of Oak Grove, LA, Robin Anders and husband, Joey of Goodwill, LA, Sharon Thornhill and husband, Randy of Oak Grove, LA, and Yolanda “Landy” Garza and husband, Robert of Oak Grove, LA; grandchildren, Peyton, Tyler, Daylen, Rikki Ann, Ethan, Jorden, Dravyn, Nola, Magdalena, Lilah, Paisley, and Naomi; and great grandchild, Kason.

Pallbearers are Tony Johnson, Ashby Meziere, Matthew Meziere, Dylan Meziere, Chance Brumley, Ricky Meziere, Dayton Meziere, and Joey Desselle.

Visitation will be 12 PM-2 PM, Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the funeral home.
