Funeral services for Dennis Barnes, 70, of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Raymond Gonzales officiating. Interment will follow in the Unity Cemetery in Pioneer, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA. 

Mr. Dennis was born on June 21, 1951 in Black Oak, Arkansas and passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 in Oak Grove, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude Ray and Anne-Mae Barnes; stepfather, T.C. Pennington; wife, Ollie Barnes; and brother, William Barnes.

Survivors include his son, Michael Joe Barnes and wife, Tina, and his mother, Cheryl Wilkes; daughter, Kasey Duckworth and husband, Lee, and her mother, Tina Issac; step daughter, Tina McCurly; grandchildren, Tyler Duckworth, Cameron Duckworth, Nathan Barnes, and Dalton Barnes; loving partner, Sharon "Sherry" Starks and family; brothers, Steven Barnes, Terry Barnes and wife, Olean, and Robbie Barnes and wife, Frances; sister, Lori Barnes; and numerous nieces, nephews, and adopted grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Tyler Duckworth, Cameron Duckworth, David Myers, Michael Marsh, Billy Ray Dunn, and Justin Carroll.   

Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, August 6, 2021 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Oak Grove, LA.
