Funeral services for Dawn A. Longoria, 56, of Columbia, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Stacy Thomas officiating. Interment was in the Duncan Cemetery, Mangham, LA.

Dawn was born December 29, 1967 in Delhi, LA and passed away Friday, October 4, 2024 in Columbia, LA with her family around her.

She loved to take care of everyone before herself. Her daughters and grandkids were her life. Cooking was one of her passions for home and work. She loved to be around people at work, family, and friends. Would do without to make sure her kids never wanted for anything. If you know Dawn you already knew how special she was. She had the sweetest soul and kindest heart. Heaven gained a beautiful Angel.

Dawn was preceded in death by her mother, Diane Simmons; maternal grandmother, Mercedes Williams; maternal grandfather, William Green; paternal grandfather, Arville Simmons; paternal grandmother, Eula Simmons; uncle, Roger Simmons; and aunt, Juanita Graham.

Survivors include her daughters, Hailey Longoria of Rayville, LA and Autumn Longoria of Rayville, LA; grandchildren, Deshun Jones, Jr., Dylan Jones, Darrian Longoria, and Emris Jones; siblings, Keith Don Simmons, Rodney Brian Simmons and wife, Paula, and Jeannie Smiley and husband, Lawrence; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Justin Gray, Caleb Meadows, Demario Jackson, Devion Meadows, Deshun Jones, and Ryan Simmons. Honorary pallbearers were Lawrence Smiley and Seth Robertson.
