Funeral services for David E. Jackson, 66, of Rayville, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the First Baptist Church, Rayville, LA with Dr. Eddie Wren and Bro. Johnny Hoychick officiating. Interment was in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
Mr. David was born March 2, 1957 in Atlanta, GA and passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 in West Monroe, LA.
Mr. David was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sarah Jackson and sister, Judy Prevost.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Kathy Jackson of Rayville, LA; children, Brad Welker and girlfriend, Claudia Coleman of Houston, TX, Laura Lynn Jackson and husband, Mike of Houston, TX, Austin Jackson and wife, Katie of Rayville, LA, and Cody Jackson and spouse, Roger Maucha of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Taylor Crowe and husband, Wesley, Kennedy Jackson, Cooper Jackson, and Jude Jackson; brothers, Don Jackson and wife, Jeri, Larry Jackson and wife, Vicki, and Blaine Jackson and wife, Pat; sister, Debbie Rideman and husband, Ron; brother-in-law, Doug Prevost; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Mike Hipp, Roy Wiggins, Ken Templeton, Lee Brown, Kevin Bunch, Chris Huckabay, Addison Thompson, and Mike McNaughton.
