Funeral services for Darren Dwayne Johnson, 57, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Oak Grove, LA with Brother Ronnie Pardon officiating. Interment will be in the Kilbourne Cemetery, Kilbourne, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.

Darren was born on March 22, 1967, in Greenville, MS and passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in Shreveport, LA.

Survivors include his wife, Beth Betz Johnson of West Monroe, LA; stepsons, Carl Adam Michels, Matthew Robert Michels, and Joseph Leroy Michels; parents, Roy and Carolyn Johnson of Oak Grove, LA; grandchildren, Adam Michels and Alaric Michels; siblings, Roy Thomas Johnson, Jr. of Oak Grove, LA and Jennifer Thornhill and husband, Randall “Mighty Mouse” of Oak Grove, LA; nephew, Garrett Thornhill of Oak Grove, LA; and a host of cousins.

Pallbearers are Dewayne Sanders, Rick Jack Townsend, Carroll Jr. Schrock, Michael Bolton, David Bolton, Jeff Russell, Randy “Stump” Thornhill, Ricky Meziere.

Honorary pallbearers are Dave Holloway, Donald Sanders, Jerry “Roadhazard” Duncan, Shelton Ruffin, Tom “Papa T” McIntosh.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM till 2:00PM, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Oak Grove, LA.
