Funeral services for Dalton Mobley, 88, of Oak Grove, LA, will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 24, 2025, at First United Pentecostal Church, in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Jamie Blume officiating. Interment will follow to the Epps Cemetery, in Epps, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.
Mr. Dalton was born on August 5, 1936, in Delhi, LA and passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, in Oak Grove, LA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Mobley; wife, Loraine Mobley; sons, Raymond Mobley and James Mobley, Sr.; parents, William Mobley, Sr. and Zula Mobley; and brothers, Doyle Mobley and William Mobley, Jr.
Survivors include his children, Jackie Mobley and wife, Brenda, Glen Mobley, Sr., Greg Mobley, Sr. and wife, Haz, William Ellis and wife, Angie, and Christy Madgett; grandchildren, Jessica Holiman and husband, Christopher, Jennifer Chennault and husband Nathan, Latosha Sparks and husband, Zack, Glen Mobley, Jr., James D. Mobley, II, Danyelle Puerta and husband, John, Greg Mobley, II, Melissa Carter, and Jerry Cater, Jr.; 15-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Donna Mobley and Opal Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are James Mobley II, Christopher Mobley, Michael Mobley, Dalton Chennault, Brendan Holiman, and Timothy Hyer.
Honorary pallbearers are Alvin Sullivan, Larry Matthews, Jerrell Sullivan, Garrett Holiman, and his nephews.
Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, February 23, 2025 at the church.
