Connie Ruth Vanderwedge, 71, of Kilbourne, LA was born on January 24, 1954, in Lake Village, AR and passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025, in Shreveport, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Vanderwedge; parents, Rachel and Rose Garner; and brothers, Lloyd, Mike, David, and Kevin.

Survivors include her children, Larry Jones (Sara), Christy Gonzales, Chris Walker and Scott Walker; grandchildren, Adam and Anitra; great grandchildren, Semaj, Naomi, Sarah, and Charlie; siblings, Sharon Cook (James), Karen Madden (Jack), Linda Rabalais, Bonnie Garner, Donnie Puckett, Terry Garner, Mark Garner (Debbie), Richard Garner (Lisa), Franklin Garner (Jan); and a host of nieces and nephews.
