Memorial services for Chieko Y. Coleman, 94, of Monroe, LA will be held at a later date under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Homes, Rayville, LA.

Ms. Chieko was born September 20, 1930 in Yokohama, Japan and passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Coleman; and parents, Mitukichi and Sato Yumaguchi.

Survivors include her sons, James Henry Coleman and wife, Sherri of Marietta, GA and Gary Coleman and wife, Rachel; 3-grandchildren, Logan James Coleman and wife, Deanna, Clinton Gregory Coleman, and Jackson Garrett Coleman; 2-step grandchildren, Leah Rugg and Trevor Rugg: 3-great grandchildren, Presley Coleman, Hunter Coleman, and River Coleman; 2-step great grandchildren Hadleigh Rugg and Raylea Rugg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
