Funeral services for Charles Ray Greer, 85, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Brian Matthews and Bro. Justin Matthews officiating. Interment followed in the Greer Cemetery, Rayville, LA.

Mr. Charles was born December 30, 1935 in Rayville, LA and passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 in Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Greer; granddaughter, Tammy Kay Greer; and his sisters, Mickey Robinson, Mary Jane Seffens, and Doris Leftwich.

Survivors include his children, Charles “PeeWee” Greer and wife, Cathy, Debbie Davis and husband, Key, Danny Kay Greer and wife, Karen, Alfred “AC” Greer, Sara white and husband, Larry, Lisa Stanton and husband, Mike, Larry Greer and wife, Renee, Freddie Greer and wife, Tracy, Kevin Greer and wife, Melisha, and Renee Matthews and husband, Brian; 32-grandchildren, 60-great grandchildren, and 3-great-great grandchildren; brother, Sammy Greer; and his numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers were Jason Greer, Payton Greer, Christopher Stanton, Ken White, James Greer, and Michael Shoemaker. Honorary pallbearer was Drake Sparks.
