Funeral services for Charles E. Dove, Sr., 81, of Rayville, LA were held at 12:00 PM, Friday, November 14, 2025 at Richland United Pentecostal Church, Holly Ridge, LA with Br. Dewayne Whittington officiating. Interment was in the Stevenson Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mr. Charles was born on September 20, 1944 in Holly Ridge, LA and passed away November 9, 2025 in Holly Ridge, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, T. A. and Minnie Foster Rawls Dove; brothers, Wilburn “Will” Dove and Thomas F. Dove.

Survivors include is his wife of 61 years, Connie Dove; children, Charles Edward Dove, Jr., John Wayne Dove; grandchildren, Casey Dove, Chelsey Dove, Charley Dove, Cassidy Dove Jones, Johnna Dove Langley, Braxton Dove; great grandchildren, Cayden Dove, Chance Dove, Casen Gray, Alyssa Neathery, Rae Dove, Ruger Posey, Cooper Blackford, Scottie Langley, Elijah Jones, Brantley Jones, Adaline Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Sam Willoughby, Kevin Dove, Scott Wygal, Chris Wygal, Shayne Blackford, and Brandon Wayne Dove.

Honorary pallbearer was Duke Jones.
