Mr. Charles was born on December 3, 1944 in Lake Village, ARK. and passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019, in Oak Grove, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Reese and Ida Jackson; sister, Marie Carroll; and brother, Earl "Sonny" Jackson.

Survivors include his children, Curtis Jackson, Richard Jackson, Bubba Jackson, and Renea Shepherd; sister, Myrt Sullivan and Jess and Rubbie Jackson; and multiple nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
