Funeral services for Carolyn Susan Williamson, 74, of Rayville, LA were held at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 25, 2024 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Karl Huff officiating. Interment was in the Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Carolyn was born February 25, 1950 in Rayville, LA and passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024 in Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Macyn Williamson; parents, Louise and Henry Traxler, Sr.; Siblings, Henry Traxler, Jr. and Erie Bell Shiers; and brothers-in-law, Doug Ponder and L.C. Shiers.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Billy Williamson; children, Keith Adams and wife, Carol, Paul Adams and wife, Mickey, Billy Williamson, Jr. and wife, Joanna, and Joe Mac Williamson and wife, Ashley; grandchildren, Jessica Browning, Brandon Adams, Zack Adams, Avery Adams, Kaleb Williamson, Katie Williamson, Cameron Williamson, Dorothy Williamson, and Ivy Elkin; great grandchildren, Ava Glass, Hunter Browning, Alarie Browning, Caleb Browning, Lina Adams, Aubri Payson, Millie Ray Adams, Paisley Frost, and Caroline Williamson; sister, Frances Ponder; sister-in-law, Tina Traxler; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Brandon Adams, Kaleb Williamson, Michael Colt Ponder, Ashton Ponder, Chris Browning, and Corey Hudgens. Honorary pallbearers were Joh Knight, Waymond Hales, Jr., Zach Adams, Landon Frost, and Cameron Williamson.
