Graveside services for Carnice “Rusty” Blakeney, 97, of Pioneer, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 7, 2025, at Epps Cemetery, in Epps, LA with Bro. Dustin Waits officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA.

Mr. Rusty was born on March 13, 1928, in Pioneer, LA and passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, in Pioneer, LA. He is preceded in death by his wives, Jo and Allene; parents, Lloyd and Inez Blakeney; and siblings, Vonnie Fryer, Cleo Blakeney, and Lomax Blakeney.

Survivors include his nieces, Traci Jones and husband, Regan of Pioneer, LA, Angela McGhee and husband, Jimmy of Bastrop, LA, Pete Blakeney and wife, Cindy of Bonita, LA, Kerry Blakeney and wife, Emily of Silsbee, TX, Karla Blakeney of Silsbee, TX, and Alan Boyte and wife, Polly of Monroe, LA; numerous great nieces and nephews; and special friend, Angela Thompson of Pioneer, LA.
