Funeral services for Calvin M. Odom, 94, of Rayville, LA were held at  2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 3, 2021at Start Baptist Church, Start, LA with Bro. Jeff Thomas officiating. Interment followed in the Gwin Cemetery, Mangham, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mr. Calvin was born December 18, 1926 and passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 in Rayville, LA.

Mr. Calvin is preceded in death by his parents, J. D. and Mable Odom; sister, Frances Williams; great grandchild, Cameron Cardin.

Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Dorothy Odom; children, Gary L. Odom and wife, Norma; Kathie Smart and husband, Wayne; Jeanie Rolfe and husband, Joe; grandchildren, Tonya Smith and husband, Eric; Jeffrey Odom and wife, Shanda; James Odom and wife, Cherie; Amy Pecanty and husband, Darin; Andy Smart and wife, Beverly; Anna Cardin and husband, Rodney; Hope Alderman and husband, Chad; Jo Sam Rolfe and wife, Karissa; Connor Rolfe; 19 – Great Grandchildren; 3 – Great Great Grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Chester Williams.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Jeffrey Odom, James Odom, Eric Smith, Andy Smart, Darin Pecanty, Rodney Cardin, Jo Sam Rolfe, Connor Rolfe, Chad Alderman, and Ryan Romero

Honorary pallbearers were the Deacons of Start Baptist Church.

The Family requested guest to wear a mask and practice social distancing to protect friends and family.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Building Fund at Start Baptist Church.
