Brenda Lewis Pittington

Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Lewis Pittington of Rayville were held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA. Interment followed in the Mulhearn Memorial Park, on Hwy 80, Monroe, LA with Rev. Troy Dennard officiating.

Brenda was born July 17, 1960 in Monroe, LA and passed away unexpectedly in Rayville, LA on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. She was a retired from a career in insurance and she enjoyed cooking, sharing new recipes, and making trips to the beach.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John “Pitt” Pittington; mother and father, Orville and Joye Lewis; uncles, Eugene and Sylvester (Geneva) Ouchley, and John Ferguson.

Survivors include her daughter, Kayley Steele (Matt); son, Brandon Malone; grandsons, Kellan and Pistol Steele; brother, Curtis Lewis; aunts, Sharon Ouchley and Johnnie Ferguson; several nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.

Pallbearers were Mark Ouchley, John Gee, Joseph Gee, Brandon Acosta, Matt Acosta, and Mike Steele.
