Funeral services for Bobby Ray Rawles, Sr., 79, of Rayville, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the First United Pentecostal Church, Rayville, LA with Bro. Stacy Thomas and Rev. Danny G. Chance officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Tallulah, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mr. Bobby was born February 14, 1946 in Vicksburg, MS and passed away Friday, February 21, 2025 in Delhi, LA.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Ray Rawles; mother, Bessie Lea Purvis; dad, Douglas Evon Purvis; wife, Peggy Carolyn Rawles; and son, Bobby Ray Rawles, Jr.

Survivors include his daughters, Carla Yvonne Ezell and Carolyn Leanne Tanner; grandchildren, Brandon Louis Tanner, Cherie Danielle Tanner, Caroline Brooke Ezell and Peyton Craft, and Nicholas Cole Ezell; and special friend, Maggie Ruth Franks.

Pallbearers will be Cole Ezell, Eli Jones, Donald Moore, Will Stockstill, Tyler Franks, and Conner Thomas.

Honorary pallbearers are Randy Franks, Brandon Tanner, James Oscar Thornton, Andy Stephenson, Huey Franks and Dennis Odom.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Greg Sampognaro, Ken Gremillion and St. Francis Medical Center for their great care of Bobby.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the First United Pentecostal Church, Rayville, LA.
