Funeral services for Bobby Gene Mullins, 84 of Rayville, LA were held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Keith Stephens and
Bro. John Cleveland officiating. Interment was in the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, LA.
Bobby was born August 3, 1941 in Rayville, LA and passed away Monday, December 1, 2025 in Monroe, LA.
Bobby was an enthusiastic fisherman, an avid camper, and a devoted father and husband. He was a veteran with the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his son, Ben David Mullins; parents, Sam and Katie Mullins; brothers, Jack Mullins and Tuney Mullins; and sisters, Dorothy Mullins Pope and Nora Lavorn Mullins.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Janice Mullins; sons, Bobby Jack Mullins (Susie) and James Todd Mullins (Debbie); daughter, Teresa Stewart; grandchildren, Sarah Mullins, Katie Landreneau (Aaron), Lee Mullins (Beth Ann), Josie Mullins, and Blake Stewart; great granddaughters, Sadie Landreneau and Avery Mullins; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; brother, Thomas Max Mullins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Lee Mullins, Talmadge Deer, Buddy Tyler, Randy Mullins, Tracey Prewitt, and Norman Bennett.
Honorary pallbearers were Tim Fife, Bubba Bell, Sonny Yelverton, and McDonald’s Breakfast Club.
