Funeral services for Billy W. Davidson, 83, of Start, LA were held at 1:00 PM, Monday, September 2, 2024 at Abundant Life Full Gospel Fellowship, Start, LA with Bro. Tim Harris and Bro. Danny Davidson officiating. Interment was in the Rhymes Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Billy was born July 14, 1941 in Newellton, LA and passed away at his home in Start, LA on Friday, August 30, 2024. He was preceded by his son, David N. Davidson; great granddaughter, Emma Davidson; great grandson, Rooney Davidson; parents, Elton C. “Slim” and Donnie Davidson; brothers, Danny A. Davidson, Max Davidson, and Reggie Davidson.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Pastor Shirley Davidson; sons, Danny Davidson and wife, Holane, Joey Davidson and wife, Lisa, Brian Davidson and wife, Jessica; grandchildren, Jeremy L. Davidson and wife, Stephanie, Jordy L. Davidson and wife, Linsay, Blake Davidson and wife, Mary, Derrick K. Davidson and wife, Lucy, Kevin Day and wife, Rose, Rayna Breaux and husband, Keithen, Logan Davidson, Aubreigh Davidson, Brody Davidson; 14 – great grandchildren; brothers, Ted Davidson and wife, Kay, Rickey Davidson, Randy Davidson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Jordy Davidson, Blake Davidson, Derrick Davidson, Logan Davidson, Brody Davidson, Jeremy Davidson, and Kevin Day.
